Kasem Bundit University fully understands the various concerns of parents whose goal is to send their children for quality education away from home to Bangkok. To help alleviate the burden and reduce the anxiety of parents, the University has established the policy to build a dormitory on Campus so that all students are eligible for accommodation. The following combination of factors contributes to the success rate of graduation expected in the best possible way.

Kasem Bundit Dormitory, On-Campus Dormitories, consists of five 12-story buildings divided into separate male and female living quarters. There are over 2,000 residential rooms for students. The ambience blends higher education residence with the privacy of learners perfectly. This includes the relaxation in a large park right in front of the dormitory and the park along the canal.

Kasem Bundit Dormitory is across the street of Pattanakarn Campus walking distance. It consists of three 5-story buildings only for female students. There are over 165 residential rooms for students. The ambience blends higher education residence with the privacy of learners perfectly.

  1. Student must submit the request for room changing to Office of Residence Hall (2nd Floor, 1st Building) at least 30 days prior to the room changing date and receive the Room Changing Form. (student can only move out on 28th or 29th of the month)
  2. Checking overdue payment at Office of Accounting
  3. On the due date, students must pack all belongings and clean room neatly.
  4. Submit the Room Changing Form to Office at Dormitory for recording water supply usage and electricity usage
  5. Return room key, closet key, and key card to Office at Dormitory
  6. Submit Room Changing form and Renew rental contract at Office of Residence Hall (2nd Floor, 1st Building)
  7. Receive invoice and make payment of water supply, electricity, room deposit, and the rent
  8. Submit the receipt to Office at Dormitory to receive new key and key card
  1. Student must submit the request for room changing to Office of Residence Hall (2nd Floor, 1st Building) at least 30 days prior to the room changing date and receive the Check Out Form. (student can only move out on 28th or 29th of the month)

  6. Submit Check Out form and Room Checklist Form to Financial Office and make a payment. Student will receive Asset Movement Form
  7. Present receipt and moving Renew rental contract at Office of Residence Hall (2nd Floor, 1st Building)
  8. Receive invoice and Asset Movement Form to office at Dormitory
  1. Student must make payments for rental according to contract period imposed by the university
  2. Student account have no overdue payment
  3. Student must present the deposit receipt to the officer
  4. If the deposit receipt was lost, student must report to the police and submit the notification to the Office of Residence Hall
  5. Student can have a deposit refund after 25th of the following month.
  6. To have a deposit refund by the authorized person, students must write a letter of authorization with photocopies of ID Card, copy of ID Card of student and authorized person. All photocopies must be certified as true copy

  3. Payment at KTB on the move
    • A mobile unit (KTB on the move) is available in front of Kasem Samran Building during the first and the fifth of the month. Payment through "KTB on the move" will be charged 10 Baht for Service Fee)

    Office Hours: Monday – Saturday 08:30 – 16:00
    Remarks : Housing Payment Service is not available at the Office on Sunday & Holiday and on the 3rd, 4th & 5th of the month.

Students residing at the dormitory

  1. are obliged to pay rental fees at the end of the month. (After the fifth of the month, 50 baht late fee every single day is fined.)
  2. can move out and return after three months.
  3. can not leave the dorm after 11 pm.
  4. must submit a request at the Office of Residence Hall not less than 30 days in advance for room changing

Activities that are prohibited in the dormitories

  1. Making loud noises
  2. Entering or leaving the room without using the key card
  3. Keeping pet(s)
  4. Gambling
  5. Leaving shoes in the corridor
  6. Throwing rubbish in the hallway
  7. Relocating telephone to other rooms (200 Baht will be fined for breaking this rule.)
  8. Casting substances that might clog the drainage system.
  9. Affixing things on the wall (200 baht fine for each damage)
  10. Nailing on the wall (500 baht fine for each damage)
  11. Moving an electrical appliance out of the room without permission
  12. Placing things on the edge of the balcony that might cause accidents
  13. Possessing a large electrical appliance in the room, e.g. washing machine, refrigerator over 6 cubic inches, TV over 21 inches, large size stereo and gas oven (ovenware).
  14. Leaving the room dirty and untidy. (A close inspection will be carried out once a month.)
  15. Letting outsiders into the rooms
  16. Causing damages to the University's property (Inform the department concerned if there are any damages before moving in.)
  17. Taking expensive belongings out of the dormitory after 6 pm.
